Why Back to Basics?
The problem with these changing times is that we are finding ourselves faced with being in new circumstances and situations that we are unfamiliar with and not knowing where to turn or what direction we need to go. This is a subject matter I find lacking information on very much at this time of need. Living a back to basics lifestyle enables us to be prepared for adverse changing times or disasters and reduce the impact they have on our lives. We have had record snow storms, tornados, earthquakes, tsunamis, and our own government taking our freedoms away one by one.
Flooding, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, fires, and other natural disasters hit all the time in various parts of the country. Add to that a bad economy, people out of jobs, high fuel prices, and/or a terrorist incident; what do you get? A disaster… and for some…life-threatening crisis!
Living a basic lifestyle, providing a stable life for our family, food on the table, a good education, or being self-reliant, all involves management of our monetary needs. For most of us, getting back to basics requires we first make a change of attitude towards the way we live, a change in the way we do things, and ultimately a change in our lifestyle that will help protect us against these adverse changing times. It is time to get our lives in order so we are better prepared for the unexpected. Become self-reliant now!
